The end of an age is often marked by the eruption of all that must pass out of existence. It is a catharsis, a catharsis of all that has settled inside the subconscious of man through centuries and millenniums of experience through the ambiguous fields of earth. The deep-rooted means that threw themselves up from time to time as a malaise have taken the form of a malady, a civilisational nightmare, so they say. It’s only so that we may find the true cure. In short, the age of palliatives is over. We seek and need a radical remedy.

The radical remedy is not far to find. In the roots of the malady lies also its cure. The problem and the solution indeed co-exist if we look at it rightly without being befuddled by rapidly changing, chaotic and confusing appearances. They are only symptoms thrown up by an unhealthy constitution as it meets the great challenge of life, — to evolve under conditions that resist and revolt against the slightest pressure to change. The pressure to evolve comes from the very nature of life. The resistance comes from the depths of Matter that by its very nature prefers a state of inertia, obscurity and unconsciousness.

Eventually, Matter and the mere materialistic outlook and its rigid mechanical determinism must yield to a deeper, intuitive sight and a plasticity of consciousness that adapts perfectly the means to the goal.

That goal, conceived at the very beginning of the human journey and its earliest dawns, is the eternal quartet of Truth, Freedom, Bliss and Immortality. The victory of spiritual vision over the myopic materialistic view is the sole remedy worthy of man. It also provides his truly effective existential remedy and permanent cure.
