Man is an explorer and an adventurer. Unlike the animal kind, he is busy discovering and breaking into fresh grounds of knowledge and new vistas of power. He may be born a two-legged creature barely able to walk and run but he aspires to grow wings and explore the secrets of space. He aspires to dive deep and fathom the mysteries of the ocean. And when all this is over he turns inward unravel the marvels and wonders that are concealed within.

Such is the call of the Age, the demand of the Time-Spirit. Man must look within and study and master the forces of his complex and varied inner existence. He has explored the limits of outer space but he is yet to undertake the adventure of inner space and tap the powers that lie concealed within his own being.

This too needs an extreme effort of another kind. It means negotiating narrow gorges, crossing dark and dangerous abysses of his nature. In this effort, his heart and mind has to go beyond the limits of human love and knowledge and his will has to cross all limits set by past experience. Then man breaks into another dimension where the laws of matter change. He enters another existence, vast, luminous, free, where the laws of his inner psychological living change. It is another mode of living, a new becoming.
