The work of alignment
By James Anderson - Apr 24, 2016
Aligning oneself to the Truth of one’s being is a key to well-being and health. The soul is the chief determinant in regaining wholeness. However, in the early stages of growth, it works from behind the scene, so one needs to find that part of our nature which resonates most strongly with the psychic influence. In the author’s experience, the work of alignment comes through detailed observation, a process of the Integral Yoga, and the enquiry that accompanies it produces a dynamic shift towards the Truth. Progress requires immense personal effort at the beginning but the aim is always for alignment to become our spontaneous, natural state.

The power of money
By Soumitra Basu - Apr 24, 2016
Both the materialistic idea of possession of money and its ascetic rejection do not do justice to the spiritual value of wealth. Logically wealth belongs to humanity, metaphysically to the Divine. Money has to be won back from the clutches of falsehood for service to the Truth. An appreciation of the true value of money is needed in education and counselling.

Terminal cases
By D.E. Mistry - Apr 24, 2016
These cases are from the diary notes of a Professor of surgery who mastered homoeopathy — a background which facilitates unique insights into one of the most sensitive areas of medicine. It is interesting that the doctor had a spurt of terminally ill cases in a short span of time. This type of ‘meaningful coincidence’ has been often observed in the field of psychotherapy (see the writings of C. Jung). One reason for this could be that the illness is not only an experience for the patient but also for the treating physician, whose personal outlook and philosophy of life is often moulded by his psychological environment, that is, the patient.

Moving Forward
By Unknown Author - Apr 24, 2016
Linear thinking looks at life in a linear way. It sees moments strung together in a straight line, thereby giving us a workable hypothesis of cause and effects. But there is another, a global sight, so to speak. It looks at the entire web of life with its criss-crossing currents that interact with each other in a complex and non-linear way. The Space-Time configuration itself changes as there are many interlocked matrices which support objects in Space and through which the Spirit of Time moves, creating events for our experience. Therefore any effort to reduce creation and life itself to an over-simplified formula is bound to stare back at us testifying to our ignorance.

Increasing the receptivity of the body
By The Mother - Apr 24, 2016
It depends on the part. The method is almost the same for all parts of the being. To begin with, the first condition: to remain as quiet as possible. You may notice that in the different parts of your being, when something comes and you do not receive it, this produces a shrinking — there is something which hardens in the vital, the mind or the body. There is a stiffening and this hurts, one feels a mental, vital or physical pain. So, the first thing is to put one’s will and relax this shrinking, as one does a twitching nerve or a cramped muscle; you must learn how to relax, be able to relieve this tension in whatever part of the being it may be.
