Moving Forward

The new year is a symbol that life and death, destruction and new creation go hand in hand, complementing each other. At a casual surface glance, death seems to pass the final sentence on all efforts of life to blossom and bloom. The shedding of leaves in Autumn appears to remind us of the transience of every Spring, however beautiful and rich it may have been. But to a deeper vision, death seems to be only a process of life, a necessary step for rejuvenation and fresh efflorescence. The tree of life that sheds its leaves does not die with Autumn. It becomes green and full of colours, springing up fresh blossoms.
